Emiko is a B2B sales intelligence platform powered by AI (Anthropic Claude) that generates company briefs, email replies, and transcript analysis. This Acceptable Use Policy outlines the conduct and activities that are permitted and prohibited when using Emiko. By accessing and using Emiko, you agree to comply with these terms.
Permitted Use
Emiko is designed for legitimate B2B sales research and outreach activities. Permitted uses include:
- Conducting research on companies and key decision-makers for sales prospecting
- Generating personalized email outreach and reply drafts for legitimate business communications
- Analyzing call transcripts and meeting recordings to improve sales conversations
- Using AI-generated briefs and insights to inform your sales strategy and preparation
- Creating professional sales materials based on Emiko-generated content
All activities must comply with applicable laws, industry regulations, and the terms outlined in this policy.
Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited on Emiko:
- Bulk scraping and data harvesting: Automated extraction of company data, contact information, or other content from Emiko or through Emiko to build unrelated databases.
- Automated abuse: Using bots, scripts, or automated tools to bypass rate limits, perform bulk actions, or circumvent security controls.
- Spam and harassment: Generating, distributing, or using Emiko to create bulk unsolicited communications, spam emails, or harassing messages.
- Deceptive practices: Using Emiko to impersonate individuals, misrepresent your identity, or deceive recipients about the nature of your outreach.
- Malicious content: Uploading, creating, or distributing malware, viruses, or other malicious code.
- Security circumvention: Attempting to bypass, reverse-engineer, or interfere with Emiko's security systems, authentication mechanisms, or infrastructure.
- Illegal activities: Using Emiko for any purpose that violates local, state, national, or international law.
- Rate limit violations: Intentionally circumventing, disabling, or overloading Emiko's rate limiting systems.
AI Output Responsibilities
Emiko uses artificial intelligence to generate content. You are responsible for the use of all AI-generated outputs:
- Review before use: You must review all AI-generated content before sending, publishing, or acting on it. AI outputs may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors.
- No harassment or deception: Do not use AI-generated content to harass, deceive, or mislead recipients. All outreach must be honest and truthful.
- Verification of facts: Do not present AI-generated company briefs or research as human-verified research without conducting your own fact-checking and verification.
- Attribution: If you modify and republish AI-generated content, ensure that modifications are accurate and not misleading.
Rate Limits and Fair Use
Emiko enforces per-user and per-organization rate limits to ensure fair access and platform stability. Rate limits are designed to prevent abuse and maintain service quality for all users.
- Attempting to circumvent, bypass, or disable rate limiting mechanisms is a violation of this policy.
- Deliberately overloading the service through excessive requests is prohibited.
- Coordinating with other users to collectively exceed rate limits constitutes abuse.
Emiko reserves the right to adjust rate limits at any time to maintain platform stability and fairness.
Content Restrictions
You may not upload, create, or distribute the following types of content through Emiko:
- Sensitive personal data: Social Security numbers, medical records, financial account numbers, or other highly sensitive personally identifiable information.
- Copyrighted material: Content you do not have the legal right to use, modify, or distribute.
- Private or confidential information: Trade secrets, proprietary information, or confidential business data of third parties without authorization.
You are responsible for ensuring that any data you provide to Emiko complies with privacy laws and does not violate the rights of third parties.
Enforcement
Emiko takes violations of this policy seriously. In response to violations, Emiko may:
- Issue a warning and request immediate remediation
- Temporarily suspend or permanently terminate your account access
- Revoke API access or limit your rate limits
- Report violations to relevant legal authorities if applicable
Termination of an account due to violation of this policy is a final decision. No refunds will be issued for accounts terminated due to policy violations.

If you believe another user is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, or if you have concerns about misuse of Emiko, please report it to: reynold@emikoai.com
Include as much detail as possible about the violation, including account names, timestamps, and specific examples. All reports are reviewed promptly and treated confidentially.
Changes to This Policy
Emiko may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our service, applicable laws, or other factors. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Continued use of Emiko after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically to ensure you remain compliant.
